The concept behind the Essential Angel™ range of glamorous, organic skin care for children came about quite simply from a desire to educate my own young daughters to respect and care for their skin whilst also respecting and caring for our environment.
I believe that it is important to learn about cleansing and protecting your skin and to develop a skin care routine from an early age.
We are born with the most amazing, pure skin. We are all exposed to pollutants on a daily basis. Dust, airborne pollutants, and natural secretions like sweat and grime, all block the pores and create a dull complexion. Cleaning your skin is a most important part of the daily skin care routine. For many children, this cleansing process involves soap and water, scrubbing with a flannel or direct water pressure on the facial skin from a shower. By using Essential Angel products, we avoid the dragging or stretching that can damage the delicate facial skin.
The Essential Angel™ range aims to provide young girls with the products and the advice to assist them in learning the correct and least harmful method of cleansing, moisturising & protecting the skin. The simple, three step method introduces young girls to an essential routine that will stay with them for life. The gentle, organic products, scented only with essential oils, are presented in glamorous packaging which are both feminine and funky and will delight every young girl.
We also offer organic and natural products to help you feel glamorous every day. This range includes eau de toilette, shimmer body powder, organic lip balm and natural nail tint.
In producing our Essential Angel™ products we are passionate about making a minimal impact on the environment. We use wild, natural ingredients of the finest quality harvested from Australian farms without the use of chemical pesticides. We have absolutely no secrets about our products at Essential Angel™ and we offer full ingredient disclosure so as you can see exactly what you are putting on your skin. All our organic products are 100% biodegradable so anything you wash down the drain will not harm our precious environment.
Our packaging is made from 100% recycled cardboard.
We are concerned about animal welfare and our products are not tested on animals.
With the creation of Essential Angel, a dream has come to fruition. Girls now have a range of skin care products formulated especially for them to aid and protect their natural beauty. We have been able to develop these truly beautiful organic products whilst at the same time, causing minimal impact upon our environment. About the creator of Essential Angel
Kate Marshall has always been conscious of promoting a calm atmosphere in her immediate environment. She uses alternative therapies such as music, meditation & essential oils to achieve this within her family home. Kate was raised on a property in Western Victoria, Australia and grew up surrounded by animals, organic produce and lots of clean, fresh air! She spent some time working in the cosmetics industry before changing direction and following her heart to become a registered nurse. Kate and her husband moved from Australia and spent 10 years living in the UK in the 1990’s. During this time, they travelled extensively and Kate continued to pursue her passion for alternative therapies. Kate is now the proud and busy mother of four young children, one boy and three girls. The Marshall family currently live on the spectacular coastal region of South West Victoria.
The Packaging Design for Essential Angel
The unique design for the packaging comes from the inspirational work of Artist, Andrea Gimenez. The original angel is painted on silk fabric which gives her an organic, ethereal appearance. Andrea’s unique image of an angel was inspired by the artist’s love of nature. The undulating, windswept appearance of the angel’s hair echoes the movement of the elements of both ocean and air. Andrea captures the angel’s elusive status beautifully within her enigmatic gaze.
